BT Verve 500June 17, 2008
I run a small office from home and spend most of the day on the telephone, advising clients on various issues and have to say that this is just the sort of phone I want on my desktop. I could use it all day.
The BT Verve 500 Twin is a very well designed package. It looks and feels great. And lets face it, ownership of consumer items is the ‘be all and end all’ of life these days. It is a lovely to hold digital cordless phone in an exciting red colour. This is a colour and finish reminiscent of a SmegĀ© fridge in all its glory; a retro red like the Plymouth Fury in the film Christine.
Naturally the telephone is fully featured with all the, now usual, bells and whistles now included with even the most basic of cordless phones.
Worth noting, though, are the hefty half hour’s recording time on its Answering Machine and its clear colour screen which is still quite legible even in brightly lit conditions.
I have not always been a big fan of BT, but have to admit that I switched back to them recently and have been extremely impressed at their phone and broadband packages and, all in all, I just loved this beautifully designed cordless phone from BT, I am a convert to British Telecom now.
